33:1 You godly ones, shout for joy because of the Lord!

It is appropriate for the morally upright to offer him praise.

147:1 Praise the Lord,

for it is good to sing praises to our God!

Yes, ¹⁰  praise is pleasant and appropriate!

[33:1]  ¹ sn Psalm 33. In this hymn the psalmist praises the Lord as the sovereign creator and just ruler of the world who protects and vindicates those who fear him.

[63:5]  ² tn Heb “like fat and fatness.”

[92:1]  ⁵ sn Psalm 92. The psalmist praises God because he defeats the wicked and vindicates his loyal followers.
